Director resigns

 Organizational Announcement

Target Release - April 28, 5:00pm

Morristown, NJ

Dear Table of Hope Community,

It is with very mixed feelings that we announce that Table of Hope Co-founder and current Executive Director, Teresa Williams, has decided to leave the organization effective April 28, 2026. Teresa has made this difficult decision for personal reasons and will be permanently relocating to Maryland to be closer to family and to support her parents.

During her more than 15 years leading the Table of Hope (TOH), Teresa oversaw incredible growth and expansion of the organization and the services provided to Morris County and surrounding communities. In 2025, Table of Hope Food Pantry served nearly 20,000 households and over 70,000 people in our area and touched the lives of many other people through various programs and events. Teresa led the organization through many crises, including the Covid pandemic, natural disasters, and infrastructure failures, all while maintaining a positive attitude and focusing on delivering for the people who depend on the services provided by the Table of Hope. Teresa will be staying on in a consulting role to support the organization through this transition.

We are actively looking for a new Executive Director to lead the Table of Hope during this critical transition period and hope to be able to make an announcement in the coming weeks. During this interim period, please address all inquiries to info@springstreetcdc.org. All inquiries will be addressed by the appropriate TOH representative.

Please join us in thanking Teresa for her outstanding leadership and tremendous service to the community and wishing her well in this next chapter of her life. She will truly be missed in our community.

We thank you all for your continued support.
